Grand reopening

The North Carolina Maritime Museum on Hatteras has completed its extensive renovation and complete redesign of its lobby and exhibit spaces. The new gallery is a showcase of state-of-the-art features and interactive elements that bring our coastal history to life. And you can be among the first to experience it when you join us for our Grand Reopening on May 20 (or for members of our Friends of the Museum, a special preview the week before). Our regular operating hours will be Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our opening week schedule is online.
