How do we do what we do, you ask? For over 25 years our staff of creative individuals has watched trends come and go and has gained the skills needed to produce the gift and stationery items you know and love today.
Actually it all began back in 1980 when JoAnne van Roden, mother of current Wellspring president Trip van Roden, wrote her first cookbook "Favorite Seafood Recipes". She and her husband Al loaded their station wagon with books and hit the road, calling on gift shops up and down the East Coast. The original warehouse was a small barn on the van Rodens' farm in Pennsylvania. When there was an order to ship JoAnne would put a red potted geranium in the barn window to signal the delivery truck to stop and pick up.
Wellspring has since expanded to create fun and functional gifts and stationery products such as Flip Cases ™, Flip Notes ®, pens, journals, Luggage Tags, Bendini Magnets ™, Auto Notes ™, Wiggle Pens ™, Pencil Pads ®, note cards, recipe books, and shopping list pads.
